2013 VMAs: Katy Perry to Perform “Roar” — Under the Brooklyn Bridge?

Katy Perry = the world’s hottest bridge troll!

Katy is one of the performers scheduled for tonight's MTV Video Music Awards, which should be crazy good.

The 2013 VMAs will take place at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Lady Gaga will perform, Justin Timberlake will probably have an 'N Sync reunion, and we'll see performances from Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Robin Thicke, Drake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Miss Katy Perry.

Us Weekly has new details on Katy's show-stopping plans. Her new single, "Roar" is out, and she's going to give the song’s first live performance tonight — under the Brooklyn Bridge! This will reportedly be the show's closing number. A source said she was originally planning to sing on top of the bridge, but the city wouldn't give her the permit. That's probably a good idea, since it would literally stop traffic. Will people hear her "Roar" under the bridge as they drive?

The show starts at 9 p.m. tonight (Sunday, August 25) on MTV. Read the full list of VMAs nominations here. Will you be watching?
