The Voice’s Cassadee Pope to Appear on America’s Got Talent on August 28

She may have gotten her solo start on The Voice, but Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope is now expanding her horizons to another popular NBC competition show — America’s Got Talent.

The pop rocker-turned-country princess will perform on the show on August 28. The show’s finale doesn’t air until September 18, but Cass is sharing airtime with some major A-Listers.

British boy band One Direction will also take the stage on August 28, which means that thousands of screaming fangirls will also get the chance to see The Voice winner sing.

Chances are she’ll be singing one of her two new singles “Wasting All These Tears” or “You Hear a Song” and either way we’re happy.

After the official America’s Got Talent Twitter handle shared the performance news, Cassadee replied, “it’s gunna be a party! A bday party actually :) thanks so so much for inviting me!”

Does that mean that Cassadee will be celebrating her birthday on the AGT stage? Probably!

We can’t wait for this performance, but we’re most excited for her big date in October, you know, that little thing we like to call an album release! Cassadee’s first solo album Frame By Frame will come out on October 8, and we’re so excited to see what this artist has been working on.
