Wade Robson Wins Legal Victory in Michael Jackson Child Molestation Lawsuit
Though his child sexual abuse lawsuit against Michael Jackson was dismissed back in May, Wade Robson just won a small legal victory against the late pop star.
Though that case was dismissed, Wade filed an amended complaint against MJ’s production companies, and RadarOnline.com reports the judge has ruled in favor of the dancer, overturning the defense’s claims the statute of limitations has passed.
“Plaintiff Wade Robson has alleged sufficient facts of a business environment connection between him and defendants,” Judge Mitchell Beckloff writes. “Certainly, there are allegations Michael Jackson sexually abused plaintiff prior to any business relationship.”
The documents continue, “Defendants arranged for Wade Robson and plaintiff’s mother’s immigration to the United States. Plaintiff’s residency in the United States and involvement with Michael Jackson was facilitated and promoted by defendants. Defendants employed plaintiff and his mother to promote the sexual abuse.”
But the 33-year-old still has some ways to go before the case goes to trial. Stay tuned to Wetpaint as this story develops.
