‘The Walking Dead’ Cast Made Pact Not to Discuss Who Negan Killed
By now it’s no secret Negan killed someone in The Walking Dead Season 6 finale, but the cast has apparently made a pact not to discuss who the mega-villain beat to death with Lucille.
Many TWD actors — with the notable exception of Norman Reedus — have said they don’t even know the identity of Negan’s victim, which no doubt makes their agreement easier to maintain.
As for why the actors opted to make a pact in the first place? Andrew Lincoln says it’s all about that familial connection.

“We kind of made a pact with each other, just because personally and professionally one of us is going," he tells ComicBook.com. “These people are lovely, dear friends. Including myself one of us is gonna get it.”
And even if Andy does know who kicked the bucket, he’s not about to give up any intel.
“It's upsetting. It's too precious. There are certain things that become sacred on set and I'm afraid, I'm one of these people going, ‘I can't talk about it,’” he says.
Apparently not discussing character deaths is par for the course for this tight-knit cast.

“Every time we've lost somebody on the show they've been instrumental in storytelling. It's the same thing. We lock up shop. We linked arms, got on our knees, and said, 'You know what? Let's not discuss this,” the Brit adds. “It's painful. No apologies.’”
The TWD cast owes us no apologies, but we would like one from showrunner Scott Gimple for forcing us to wait six months to find out who we should be mourning!
The Walking Dead Season 7 will premiere in the fall on AMC.
