Fan Theory Predicts Exciting New Role For Carol on ‘The Walking Dead’
The Walking Dead loves to remix their comic book characters for the show.
The latest fan theory looks at the future of two fan favorites on the AMC hit.
Melissa McBride's Carol Peletier has become one of the most enduringly popular characters in the entire series.
Her comic book counterpoint is long gone, but some see the former housewife stepping into a whole new role.
This leaves the samurai's storyline up for grabs on the show — and it looks like Carol will be the one to take her place!
In the comics, Michonne decides she no longer wishes to fight and eventually finds herself identifying with King Ezekiel's peaceful demeanor.
The two strike up a relationship before heading out to take down Negan — the show has certainly set up a precedent for a budding romance.
Comic book Michonne becomes shaken up during the war and takes off for a bit — something Carol has been prone to do on the show.
After the dust settles, there is a two-year time jump at which point Michonne is nowhere to be found.
Will Carol finally get her wish and remove herself from the group completely? Is this where Oceanside comes into play?
We love Carol whether she's there with the group or isn't.
Just knowing Michonne is technically still alive in the books gives us hope Queen Carol will be slaying it for many more seasons.
The Walking Dead midseason premiere airs Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
