No character death has impacted fans of The Walking Dead quite like the loss of Glenn Rhee. Thankfully, we may get the chance to say goodbye to one of our favorite survivors one last time.

Flashbacks are a common occurrence on TWD, whether they're sweet memories like Rick’s fond remembrances of Hershel, or ghostly hauntings like Rick’s visions of Shane and Lori.

The most recent return of a deceased character saw a dying Sasha ushered into the afterlife by visions of Abraham — and it was everything.

According to executive producer Scott Gimple, we could see another visit from a former character that would top anything we’ve seen before.

Michael Ausiello reports in TVLine’s Q&A session that Scott is considering having Steven Yeun appear in a future cameo on the show, reprising his character in some sort of flashback scenario.

“As Maggie gets closer to giving birth, it’s ‘certainly possible,’ says EP Gimple. ‘I’d be silly to say it isn’t.’”

Both Michael and Scott realize that event could be a long way ahead of us, “but, if a Glenn sighting were to be tied to his baby’s arrival, you could have quite a wait ahead of you."

However, Scott added, "She might not be that close. Things have been moving pretty quickly, but not a lot of time has passed."

Maggie needs to hurry up and have that baby. We need to see our Glenn again.
