Fans haven’t even fully processed the Season 7 finale yet, but The Walking Dead crew is ready to begin filming Season 8 — as is a very special cast member.

Norman Reedus has his hands full these days. He’s got his travel show, his son, a budding new relationship, and maaaybe a baby on the way?

We wouldn’t begrudge the 48-year-old actor a break now and then. And he may be forced into one if the current Writers Guild of America negotiations don't go well.

Norman isn’t ready to rest on his laurels just yet — he wants to get back to filming TWDstat!

The caption assures fans Norman is “ready to get back at it” and we couldn’t agree more.

Unfortunately, Norman might be forced to wait. Writers have been feeling dissatisfied with their wages thanks to shorter seasons, syndication, and exclusivity contracts.

If the strike scheduled for May 2 goes through, TWD’s Season 8 could be put on hold, as MoviePilot reports.
