We’ve already gotten our first look at Negan from the upcoming 90-minute finale of The Walking Dead Season 6, so now it’s time to check in with our people — AKA the guys and gals not walking around with baseball bats covered in barbed wire.

A quintet of photos just released by AMC show Alexandria’s finest —Rick Grimes, Sasha, Spencer, and Abraham Ford — preparing for battle in their own way. Rick looks worried but formidable from inside the RV, while Sasha, Spencer, and Abe are each armed with massive guns that have the potential to inflict some serious damage.

We know from one of the sneak peeks that Rick and several others leave Alexandria in the RV to take pregnant Maggie Greene to Hilltop for medical treatment, but get stopped by a group of Saviors en route.

Before he leaves, Rick puts Father Gabriel Stokes in charge and leaves Baby Judith in his care. If Alexandria is attacked while the others are MIA, the plan is to fight, and distract and evacuate if need be.

Spencer floats the idea of trying to cut a deal with the Saviors should they show up at Alexandria, but Rick says, “Tell ‘em to wait for me.”

Based on spoiler intel, however, it sounds like the Saviors are one step ahead of Rick’s crew and manage to round up Rick, Carl GrimesGlenn RheeDaryl DixonMichonne, Maggie, Abraham, Eugene Porter and Aaron.

Negan then uses “Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe” to help him decide which one of our people to kill, but the finale ends on a cliffhanger and we won’t learn the identity of his first victim until Season 7.

Our team gets points for being prepared and ready for a fight, but we’re betting they have no idea who they’re up against!
