Walking Dead Season 6: See First Photos of Daryl, Glenn, and Maggie!

Don’t get us wrong, The Walking Dead Season 6 mega-trailer that was unveiled at Comic Con last week was everything we could’ve asked for and more, but given that there’s so much happening in the trailer, sometimes it can be nice to just see a few photos of our favorite characters. You’d be surprised how much info you can get from just one pic!

We’ve seen what Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) looks like at the start of TWD Season 6 — a little beat up and unkempt, yet definitely ready to take charge — but what about some of his pals? Entertainment Weekly got their hands on the first shots from Season 6 of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan), and while the snaps don’t give us that much to work with, they do clue us in a bit on what’s to come.

Daryl’s photo is pretty standard for the expert tracker. He’s got his trusty crossbow slung over his shoulder, and although he’s giving the camera his best withering stare, he doesn’t seem to be in any immediate danger. The same can’t be said for the Daryl we saw in the aforementioned Comic Con mega-trailer, who seemingly comes across a pack of Wolves and ends up with a gun aimed at his head.

As for our favorite TWD couple Glenn and Maggie? Their photos show each of them firing a gun. In Glenn’s snap we can see the shell flying through the air as he fires and he still has cuts on his face, which leads us to believe that Season 6 will likely pick up from the end of Season 5, assuming, of course, that Glenn’s scrapes are from his fight with Nicholas (Michael Traynor).

Looking at Maggie’s photo, it appears as if she’s firing her gun within the walls of Alexandria, which would indicate that walkers (or intruders of some other kind) are still breaching the outer walls. Yikes!

The Walking Dead Season 6 premieres with a 90-minute episode on October 11 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
