‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Premiere To Feature Multiple Deaths?

The Walking Dead Season 6 concluded with Negan beating someone to death with Lucille, so we know at least one heartbreaking death is in our future. But now we’re learning there could be multiple deaths on the horizon in the Season 7 premiere.

Hey, Scott Gimple, are you trying to kill us?!

When asked if sick Maggie Greene or any others (aside from Negan’s Eenie, Meenie, Minie, Moe winner) will die in the Season 7 opener, EP Greg Nicotero told The Hollywood Reporter, “I don't know. There's a lot of great story ahead of us. Maggie didn't look so good when we wrapped up that episode — but nobody looked really good in those last few moments!”

Greg, who revealed he’ll be directing the first Episode of Season 7, confirmed the cast and crew don’t yet know who Negan killed.

“We have not filmed it, yet and I don't know if the person knows yet or not,” he said. “What's exciting about Season 7 is how a death — any death — changes people and propels us in a different direction.”

And, as we told you yesterday, Negan is here for the duration.

“Negan and the Saviors are a formidable force, and I don't believe our group can wiggle out of this confrontation,” he added. “If you read the comics you get a good sense of how these different worlds all have to deal with Negan's group and their plan.”

Eventually — we’re talking way down the line — Rick Grimes’s group teams up with The Hilltop and The Kingdom to take down Negan and The Saviors in a portion of the comic book story called “All Out War.”

Here’s hoping our survivors recuperate from the Season 6 finale loss before they attempt to take on Negan!

The Walking Dead Season 7 will premiere in the fall on AMC.
