‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Premiere: 11 Deaths Shot to Prevent Spoilers

Let’s be clear, AMC has never liked spoilers, but as viewers wait to find out who Negan killed, the network is taking their aversion to leaked intel to new heights.

In addition to shooting some of the season indoors and out of order and threatening to sue a popular spoiler site for posting speculation regarding Negan’s victim, we’re now hearing the conclusion of the death scene was shot 11 different ways.

In other words, according to The Hollywood Reporter, AMC filmed Negan killing each of the 11 characters in the lineup so no one would know who he really beat to a pulp.

To recap, the list of possible victims includes, Carl Grimes, Rick Grimes, Michonne, Eugene Porter, Maggie Greene, Sasha, Daryl Dixon, Aaron, Rosita Espinosa, Abraham Ford, and Glenn Rhee.

While this may sound a bit crazy on the network’s part, they were pretty much forced to take such drastic measures after fans were flying drones over the set in an effort to catch a glimpse of the unlucky one.

“With the advent of drones, it can become such a game of cat and mouse that as far as sneaking a peek at the actors walking to set, we want to just keep our actors safe and the people who might be looking safe — like [when they're] in the street,” showrunner Scott Gimple explained to THR.

And get this, it sounds like the producers haven’t even decided who dies yet!

The publication notes, “The Walking Dead producers and the episode director will then work with the show's editors and pick the character who does indeed die.”

NEWS: This TWD Character Will Be Back For Season 7

We’re all for finding out who Negan killed, but stalking the set with drones is a bit much.

The upside? It will be October before you know it!

The Walking Dead Season 7 will premiere in the fall on AMC.
