Where's Jerry Springer when you need a dramatic paternity test reveal?

The Walking Dead’s Shane (Jon Bernthal) and Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) had an affair back when they thought her husband Rick (Andrew Lincoln) was dead. Turns out, rumors of Rick’s death were greatly exaggerated. Now Shane and Lori are dead and Rick is raising Lori’s baby on his own.

Lori died right after giving birth to Judith, and no one knows whether Little Ass-Kicker’s father is Rick or Shane. It’s not like there are DNA tests available in the zombie apocalypse. Fans have joked about the baby being Shane's if she shows up with his dark hair or seems to have extreme aggression issues.

Actor Jon Bernthal decided to weigh in on the issue during a Q&A at Wizard World Chicago Comic Con. Asked if he thought Judith was Shane's or Rick's, Jon said, "100 percent Shane’s baby.” The crowd cheered and Jon added, “That baby’s going to have a big, old busted nose and giant-ass ears, you know what I mean? … 100 percent Shane’s baby.”

Poor Judith! Let's hope he’s wrong about the nose and ears. It's bad enough that she's named after Carl's old teacher. Speaking of Carl, is he Shane's baby too? He seems to have Shane's protect your own/shoot everything else instinct. Maybe that's what Rick should tell himself if Carl starts really going off the deep end in Season 4, which starts Sunday, October 13 on AMC.

Watch Jon’s full panel Q&A for more. He’s a funny guy. If only he could come back to us...
