Who will die this Sunday, November 3 in Episode 4, “Indifference”? At this point, we’re not even sure we really know the people that are still alive.
In the Episode 4 promo (below) we see someone drag a bloody body across the floor. Is that a new dead body, or a flashback showing Karen or David being dragged outside?
The promo shows Lizzie telling Carol (Melissa McBride), "A lot of people are going to die, it always happens." Carol responds, "You don't give up." But we know Lizzie is now sick, and in Episode 3 Carol shoved her into the sick ward. So is this a flashback? Some people think Carol was just covering for Lizzie, Karen and David’s killer. Is that theory legit? Will we see how it played out, whether Carol or Lizzie were really responsible for the death-drag-burn?
Most of the prisoners are now sick; not too long ago, Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) warned TV Guide, “There's a point where the number of able-bodied people is one or two. … It gets to a point where Maggie is the only person who can actually fight.”
Her fiance, Glenn (Steven Yeun), is very sick, and her father, Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson), looks vulnerable to illness. Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Dr. S., and countless others are now sick too. Lizzie is also sick, or she was at least pretending to be sick. Is Lizzie just crazy?
This week, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Carol head out on a short medicine supply run, going through houses to try and find anything that will help Hershel slow the sickness. Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Tyreese (Chad Coleman), Michonne (Danai Gurira), and Bob Stookey (Larry Gilliard Jr.) are also trying to reach that veterinary school to get the serious meds Hershel needs. Hopefully they all arrive back in one piece.
It’s possible this week we’ll be too busy following the supply runs for any majors deaths. It’s not like someone has to die every week (other than maybe some unnamed people in the prison).
At this point, we’re a little more worried for the next week, Episode 5, which has this scary synopsis: "Assorted enemies pressure Rick and the group; the survivors and the prison may reach a breaking point." We’ve read rumors that Hershel may leave our company in Episode 5. Maybe that was wrong, but expect the worst … and keep expecting bad things to come, especially on Episode 8, which is the mid-season finale. That one sounds scary too.
Do you have a death/life/event prediction for “Indifference” or are you indifferent?
UPDATE: Here are two scary teases on Episode 4 from SpoilerTV: “Expect to be sad: One character dies and is eaten by walkers. It’s always disgusting and sad. Bye bye you.” That one doesn’t sound like a “major” loss. However… “Expect to be shocked : One character doesn’t make it back to the prison. It’s sad and heart breaking. I did not see it coming, it was a real shocker. and clearly I’m still not happy about it (I'm sure you won't when you watch it too)..."
Who doesn't make it back? Tyreese? Bob? Michonne? ... Daryl?! Rick or Carol?
The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 4: “Indifference” airs on Sunday, November 3, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
