Every so often, we’re rewarded for having nothing better to do than watch TV. During

The Walking Dead marathon on New Year’s Eve, AMC shared four very brief teasers for the second half of Season 4.

A new Latin American promo helpfully combines all four of those teasers, turning them into one 31-second promo.

So there’s no new footage, if you’ve seen the separate videos, but when you see them together (in Spanish!) you really get a feel for the “bleak” atmosphere Robert Kirkman mentioned for the start of the second half. He did say things would get more “hopeful” by the end of the season, but this compilation hints to a bad start.

This promo begins with the Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) tease, which is fitting since Episode 9 itself is supposed to be pretty close to the comics and have lots of Carl action. Then we follow Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) running from something and hiding/sleeping for whatever reason. We can't wait to get to the bottom of that one.

Next is a really scary clip — Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) waking up next to a pit filled with walkers. He looks like he's in bad shape and maybe he was unconscious, 'cause it's not like he'd just choose to take a nap there. At least he has his gun. The final video just shows Michonne (Danai Gurira) holding her katana, so that could mean anything.

AMC is holding another full series marathon in February in advance of Season 4’s return. Hopefully they’ll share more promos during that marathon, maybe even an extended back half trailer close to that great Comic-Con preview for the first few episodes of the season. We need more information!

The Walking Dead Season 4 returns with Episode 9 on Sunday, February 9 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
