Following a slower than expected midseason opener, The Walking Dead is back tonight, March 2, with another all-new hour. Season 4, Episode 12 is called "Still", and we know that we'll at least get to check in with Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Beth Greene (Emily Kinney). Here's even more info on Episode 12.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been over two months since The Governor (David Morrissey) drove his massive tank through the prison fence and ignited that huge war by slicing off Hershel Greene’s (Scott Wilson) head with Michonne’s (Danai Gurira) katana, but the Season 4 midseason finale of TWD aired all the way back on December 1, 2013. That was last year for god’s sake!
We’re now over a month into 2014 and seriously jonesing for some Daryl Dixon, (Norman Reedus) epic walker kills, and spaghetti Wednesdays on Tuesdays. But can we expect to see a new episode of TWD tonight, February 9?
Yes! After months of TWD-less Sundays the AMC hit is finally back tonight at 9 p.m. ET. The midseason premiere will air as the conclusion of an epic series marathon that actually began last weekend with Seasons 1 and 2, and continued into this weekend with Season 3 and what we’ve seen of Season 4 thus far.
Episode 9 is called “After”, and the synopsis for the midseason opener is as follows: Rick deals with old wounds; prison residents consider if survival will be enough.
Some media outlets have seen “After” already, and have confirmed that the ep is centered around Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his son Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs.) Tonight’s installment, as well as the remainder of the season, will apparently address “another turn” in Rick and Carl’s relationship. Oh, and we’ll catch a glimpse of Michonne as well.
