Scott Wilson — aka The Walking Dead‘s late great Hershel Greene — is nowhere near retiring. He’s 71 and still busy working, even if he’s not working with TWD after Season 4. (We miss you already!)

Scott has several convention appearances lined up this year, and Creative Loafing Atlanta recently got an update on what else he’s been up to.

“Well I've been in the process of moving and finding a place to move [laughs],” Scott said. “So it's been very busy. I've been reading material, reading scripts, and looking for something to do, which will be fun to do. Actually, I worked on a pilot called Bosch, based on a Michael Connelly book. He's been writing this series of books about Harry Bosch, who's an LAPD homicide detective. I'm not playing Bosch, but I was in the pilot. I love his books. He called me, asked if I would be in the pilot, and I said, ‘Sure.’"

Scott said he plays “a retired doctor whose dog finds a bone and it turns out to be a human bone from years ago, so it opens up a murder case.” The Powers That Be talked to him about being in two or three more episodes if Bosch goes to series.

Titus Welliver has the title role in the new drama, which is actually an Amazon original series. You can watch the pilot on Amazon Prime and see if it deserves a full series pickup. So far the comments have been very positive, so maybe they will ask Scott back for more. Check it out here. What do you think?

The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
