That guy, Tony, was the first guy to take over Rick’s bed, telling the other guy who came in that it was "claimed." They fought and Tony lost. But on Talking Dead they said he didn't seem to be dead, he just passed out. Before being strangled into oblivion, that guy looked into Rick's eyes. Will that come back to haunt Rick?
Tony is played by actor Davi Jay, and we'd been wondering about his role since he's credited on IMDb for several upcoming episodes in the rest of Season 4. Sometimes IMDb can be deceiving, but if Tony isn't dead, and he saw Rick, and the actor is credited for more episodes — could Tony reappear and cause trouble for Rick?
Much ado was made of Sons of Anarchy's Jeff Kober playing another "bad guy" in the house, and that’s probably important too, especially since Robert Kirkman confirmed that Jeff Kober will "definitely" return "and it will happen when you least expect it." That guy, supposedly named Harley, was the one bouncing the tennis ball around. We saw his face but he didn't see Rick. Tony did. Maybe the guy Rick killed in the bathroom ate Tony after he turned, but bathroom walker guy could've gone for the bed sleeper and Tony survived. What if Tony and Harley hit the road and find Rick? Maybe they stalk him to Terminus? Or maybe another one of our beloved Team Prison characters comes upon Harley and/or Tony.
It's possible Tony and the others were part of a group we've already met on the show. They could be connected to Randall's old group; the raiders who killed the people Mitch and “Brian” found; or maybe they even have connections to Abraham or Bob or other mysteries out there. Some fans think they may be connected to Terminus as a bad place, or maybe they will eventually hook up with Negan's Saviors. Robert Kirkman has already said Negan won't be on Season 4 and for once we don't think he's just trying to deceive us. It's more likely these guys are just "bad" guys out there, like we've seen before. They may not have a past connection to people we already know, but it feels like we will see both Harley and Tony in the presence of people we know — and pretty darn soon.
What do you think? Will Tony be able to follow and single out Rick as the guy who killed their friend? Are we in for some kind of human-on-human confrontation later in the season, possibly connected to some of the "brutality" Rick later faces?
The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
