This Sunday, March 9, we’ll see “Alone,” which will apparently follow two storylines, including Bob Stookey’s (Larry Gilliard Jr.) mini group with Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan). This group was last seen in Episode 10, when Maggie was sobbing over the presumed loss of Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun).
Maybe it’s a good sign for a future Gleggie reunion if Bob is on the train tracks — as seen in this AMC photo — since it implies that Maggie and Sasha are also with him (let’s hope) and even though Glenn has yet to see the sign, Terminus may be our official reunion point.
But take a look at this Bob shot. See anything unusual? Where did he get the backpack and the sleeping bag? He, Sasha, and Maggie didn’t have those supplies in Ep 10.
In the promo, we also see Sasha wearing what looks like a new sweater-shirt, and at one point Maggie also has a backpack. Did they get them from the bus people? The last shot of this team was Maggie crying on the bus; after that, did they happen upon a camp with these handy supplies? Maybe we’ll see that play out.
The Episode 13 sneak peek videos show this trio fighting walkers in a deep fog. It’s scary. Sasha already seems to have her sweater in that scene, and she’s also seen wearing it in the promo when we hear her say they only have six bullets left, “odds are, we will be dead.” (She could really use Hershel’s speech about hope!)
Do you think this new photo of Bob comes after the fog scene? It would be nice to think they all make it through the mist and emerge at the train tracks and follow the signs to Terminus, where Sasha’s brother Tyreese (Chad Coleman) may already be waiting, with the kids. (We haven’t seen his group since Ep 10 either.) After all, the synopsis for this episode is “One group finds a shelter; a group has a realization about protection.”
Is it wrong to hope that shelter is Terminus, with Terminus being a real sanctuary and not an evil trap? Or is the synopsis shelter just a place where they find supplies like the backpacks? Or maybe Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) are the ones who find shelter, since they have the other storyline this week and the other AMC photo appears to show Beth in something like a funeral home.
But don’t forget that Bob has a history of being the last one of his group to survive … and the name of this episode is “Alone.” Gulp. Then again, the start of the promo shows Maggie and Bob coming out of the woods together, possibly hitting the train tracks. Is Sasha right behind them, just out of view? Maybe the “Alone” title is more tied to the Daryl and Beth storyline, or perhaps Bob, Sasha, and Maggie feel like they are all alone, defending themselves in that horrible fog?
Do you have any predictions for what happens to Bob, Sasha, and Maggie in Episode 13? Will all three of them see a Terminus sign?
The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
