Carrie Underwood is just like us — a gorgeous blonde superstar country singer who won American Idol and loves the heck out of The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon). OK, so maybe we only have the Norman love in common, but that’s good enough.
Norman was one of the Grand Marshals of the 2014 Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans, which means The Big Easy was easily the hottest place on the planet last weekend. Carrie performed during the Endymion Extravaganza, and she got to meet Norman backstage. The singer shared a photo with the Walking Dead star, writing, “Holy crap! I just met Norman Reedus! I think I played it pretty cool...I don't look excited in this pic at all, do I?” She’s holding it together pretty well!
Apparently they got around to discussing this past Sunday’s TWD Season 4, Episode 12, “Still,” which showcased Norman’s Daryl and another pretty blonde friend of his, Emily Kinney’s Beth Greene. Carrie plugged the episode, tweeting, “On a separate note, I was told by a very reliable source that tomorrow's @WalkingDead_AMC is an awesome one! ;)”
A reliably hot source? Since she plugged the show for him, Norman should find a way to get Carrie a zombie role on TWD. (Beth could be the one to take her down: “I’m the only one allowed to sing on this show!”)
Were you down in New Orleans for the big event? Did you see Norman, The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder and Carrie in action, or do you just wish you were there?
The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
