Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) was the first cast member from The Walking Dead to stop by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and he certainly made the most of his time on the NBC late night staple. In addition to the traditional interview segment with Jimmy during which Norman showed off his laser beam eye and teased the AMC hit’s “crazy” Season 4 finale, Norman also had time to have some fun.

At the top of the March 5 show Jimmy told his audience about a new iPhone app called BroApp, which helps out “busy guys” by sending pre-written sweet and romantic text messages to their girlfriends. Jimmy found the concept “interesting” but noted that in order to really get the full effect, they should read some of the already compiled sweet-nothings aloud. And who better to read these, uh, thoughtful texts than Norman?

The 45-year-old actor nailed the delivery of each text like “You better be ready for an attack from the smooch monster tonight!”, and even got clever in acting out emojis. Jimmy and the audience loved the bit, and we got tons of laughs out of it as well. If only this app existed in the TWD world — Daryl could tell Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) how he really feels!
