Young Padawan Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) continues her training with Master Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) in this clip from The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 13, "Alone."

We see Beth and Daryl — and their new clothes, what is with all the clothing changes all of a sudden? — in the woods. Beth has Daryl's crossbow, and she's the one tracking. She wants to know what they're tracking, but that's her job to figure out, and she soon sees they're following a walker. "I'm gettin' good at this," she says with a smile. "Pretty soon I won't need you at all." Daryl tells her to just keep on tracking.

It's a cute scene, and great to see Beth empowered, but doesn't it feel like still more foreshadowing? Another promo for this episode suggests Beth and Daryl get separated when walkers attack their shelter, which may be at a funeral home type place near a cemetery. Will these skills keep Beth safe, like Carol Peletier’s (Melissa McBride) newfound skills kept her safe after her banishment? We've been wondering if Beth might go the way of the walker herself, but it's also possible she and Daryl just get separated and Beth has to prove she can make it on her own. At this point, it’s looking like maybe she can.

Do you think Beth and Daryl will get separated in "Alone" or do you think that's just what promos want us to believe? Will something worse happen, or is that just want promos want us to fear? Tell us your thoughts and theories below!

Watch “Alone” this Sunday, March 9 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
