The Walking Dead’s Maggie Greene may not be ready for her closeup just yet, but her portrayer, Lauren Cohan, looked absolutely ravishing on March 11 when she stopped by The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson for a chat.

Right off the bat Craig remarked on the astounding success of TWD, asserting that the show must have made Lauren very rich. “No, I wish,” she answered with a hearty laugh. “Maybe one day!”

Since she’s been on the hit AMC show since Season 2, Lauren guessed that she’s killed about “60 or 70 thousand” walkers — but, as Craig noted, she has yet to play a member of the undead population herself. “There’s always that chance,” she quipped.

Craig said that he was a fan of the show and zombies in general, but there was one question that he really needed an answer to: Do they poop?

“I think they do; I don’t know what they do with it, though,” Lauren reasoned before going in on a zombie theory of her own. “I always think, what if it was actually a hybrid zombie-human, super non-pooping machine? That’s actually not part of my fantasy, but it just became that.”

Lauren admitted that her theory wasn’t that well-thought-out, but she attempted to explain it nonetheless. “Maybe they would stop them from eating humans, but then the zombies still wouldn’t need to eat as much so they’d have no appetite, so they’d live for longer with less sustenance. I haven’t thought this through that much!”

We agree that the theory still needs some work, but Lauren’s hilarious story about her recent dream involving Jeff Goldblum — who was also a guest on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson on March 11 certainly makes up for it. Check out a clip from the show below and prepare to laugh!

The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
