We’ve spent a fair amount of time during Season 4 of The Walking Dead worried about Tyreese (Chad Coleman) and his psychological state, especially after Karen was murdered, but we haven’t spent nearly as much time analyzing his sister, Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), who has also had her fair share of hardships.

Like Tyreese, Sasha was thrown out of the prison in Season 3 when Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) took an express train to crazy town following Lori’s death, and then she wound up at Woodbury with The Governor (David Morrissey) but luckily managed to escape his violent rampage. Once at the prison she was safer, but she was also one of those unfortunate souls who was nearly wiped out by that deadly flu.

Sonequa and Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) were on Talking Dead last Sunday, March 9, and in a bonus clip from the show host Chris Hardwick asked Sonequa how Sasha is still able to trust anyone after everything she’s been through. “I think that’s the problem, I think she doesn’t. I think she honestly trusts her brother and I think that trust is something you really have to fight to earn with her,” she began. “I think that’s part of what makes that shell so hard to crack into with her.”

We never saw Sasha as someone who doesn’t trust others, though in Season 4, Episode 13: “Alone” she did have to go her own way before realizing that Bob Stookey (Larry Gilliard Jr.) was right in saying that they are safer as a group. And moments earlier, even if she was a bit reluctant, she even let Bob kiss her. To us, it looks like she’s slowly building up trust with Bob and Maggie and it seems like their bond will only get stronger as they spend more time together.

Speaking of Bob, both Sonequa and Lauren said they love that viewers think he;s hiding something, but Lauren noted that, of course, they couldn’t give away anything about his character. “I love that this is the perception,” she said of the air of mystery surrounding Bob. “It might be right, it might be wrong. We obviously can’t speak to it.”

For Sasha’s sake, we certainly hope Bob is a good guy. Since Tyreese is off with Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) and the kiddos, Sasha could use a man to lookout for her.

Do you think Sasha has trust issues? Should she trust Bob? Tell us what you think below!

The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
