Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) was absent for about a third of The Walking Dead Season 4. In between Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) banishing her from the prison for killing Karen and David, and her reunion with Tyreese (Chad Coleman), we barely saw her. But can we expect seemingly abducted Beth to be gone for a similarly lengthy period of time?

Lauren Cohan — who plays Beth’s on-screen sister Maggie Greene — previously stated that there would be no quick resolution to Beth’s troubling storyline, which doesn’t bode well for the cute blonde who only just had her first sip of alcohol.

Last we saw of Beth, she was abducted by a group driving a white car with a black cross on the back. Though we have some theories as to who might have taken her, we’re not  even sure we’ll be seeing her in next Sunday’s Season 4 finale, “A”. The Hollywood Reporter recently chatted with executive producer Greg Nicotero, and asked specifically if we could expect to see her in the March 30 finale.

“I can't tell you that,” Gregg answered, confirming our suspicions that Beth’s absence might be as long — if not longer — than Carol’s. Granted, Greg likely wouldn’t have said anything telling either way, but if he had good news for Beth, he might have had a little more fun with his reply.

Some people have speculated that Beth may already at Terminus (or at least part of her could be if we’re dealing with the cannibals from the comics) but that’s all pure speculation at this point.

Do you think we will see Beth in some form in this Sunday’s Season 4 finale, or will we have to wait until Season 5 to get a glimpse at the youngest Greene sister? Feel free to share your Beth-related thoughts below!

The Walking Dead Season 4 finale airs Sunday, March 30, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
