We love The Walking Dead for its killer plot twists, excellent acting, and cringe-worthy gore; but the show has also registered with us on a musical level, as well. By no means does TWD rely on music to tell its story, but the AMC hit does use a track every once in a while to enhance the story, and we generally love the songs they pick.

The Walking Dead AMC Original Soundtrack Vol. 2 (Season 4) is scheduled to be released today, March 25, and the EP features all of our favorite songs from this season including Sharon Van Etten’s “Serpents,” which played in Episode 4: “Indifference” right before Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) sent Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) on her merry way and expelled her from Team Prison for killing Karen and David, and Lee DeWyze’s “Blackbird Song,” which we heard more recently in Episode 13: “Alone”.

The EP, which you can listen to in its entirety on Billboard.com or in the video below, features a total of five great songs and is available either in stores or for digital download starting today, March 25. Volume 1 was released just last year, and it looks like the release of Volume 2 was meant to coordinate with the show’s highly-anticipated Season 4 finale, which is scheduled to air this Sunday, March 30.
