Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Tyreese (Chad Coleman), and baby Judith make up one of the groups that’s en route to Terminus but has yet to arrive. Given everything that they went through in The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 14: “The Grove,” their delay makes perfect sense. But — assuming they get to Terminus — how much of their pasts will they share with the new people there, as well as the Team Prison members who have already arrived? Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) addresses this question in a sneak peek of the Season 4 finale, but we think it’s applicable to all of our beloved survivors.

First of all, we should point out that Carol, Tyreese, and Judith’s arrival at Terminus hasn’t even been confirmed, though we are hoping — especially for Rick Grimes's (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl’s sake — that a reunion with Judith is in the cards.

Executive producer Greg Nicotero chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about Carol and Tyreese and how they might interact with a new group given all they’ve been through. “We don't know what point people will arrive there; we know everyone is headed there. We know the Claimers saw the Terminus sign and everyone is on the tracks and headed that way. But we don't know what configuration they'll be in and when everyone arrives,” he said. “Everybody has their own rules of survival, and some that work for some people won't work for others. The whole ‘claimed’ idea that you have to say that word and it's yours, whether you're there first or not doesn't matter. It's a unique perspective.”

Assuming the trio does arrive at this “sanctuary,” however, what can we expect them to tell everyone else about what went down with Lizzie (Brighton Sharbino) and Mika Samuels’ (Kyla Kenedy) shocking deaths? The last time Carol was honest with Rick (about killing Karen and David), he banished her from the prison. We can’t imagine that Rick would take the news that Carol killed Lizzie very well, even if Lizzie murdered Mika and planned to do the same thing to his own daughter.

And what about Carl, Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), and the rest of ‘em, including the unknowns at Terminus? We’d say that it would be easier for Carol and Ty to lie about what happened to the girls, but the truth always has a way of coming out on this show, so maybe honesty is the best policy at this point.

Assuming Carol and Tyreese make it to Terminus, do you think they should tell everyone the truth about what happened to the girls, or make something else up? Vote below!

The Walking Dead Season 4 finale airs Sunday, March 30, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
