During The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 14: “The Grove”, Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride)

and Tyreese (Chad Coleman) made the extremely difficult decision to kill Lizzie Samuels (Brighton Sharbino) after the “messed up” tween stabbed her own sister Mika Samuels (Kyla Kenedy) and almost did the same thing to baby Judith. The events of “The Grove” and the difficult choices that were made will likely haunt Carol and Tyreese for some time, but what if Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) had been a part of their group and had to deal with everything that went down with girls?

On last Sunday’s episode of Talking Dead a curious fan wanted to know if guest Steven was glad he wasn’t a part of Carol and Ty’s group, but it turns out, he wasn’t!

“That would have been awesome. I love Carol and Tyreese,” Steven dished. “It would have been interesting to know how that would’ve changed Glenn too. That would’ve really taken Glenn out of the hope for humanity at that point.”

Mullet-clad host Chris Hardwick took the line of questioning a step further when he asked Steven if Glenn could’ve done what Carol did and shoot Lizzie. “I don’t know. I don’t know if he could’ve necessarily done that,” Steven answered. “I’m glad that they didn’t write that choice in,” he concluded with a laugh.

How do you think Glenn would’ve fared if he was part of Carol and Tyreese’s group? Do you think he would’ve handled Lizzie differently? Check out the Talking Dead clip below and tell us your thoughts!

The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
