If you think The Walking Dead cast is holding out on us and purposely not divulging any big hints about what’s to come in Season 5 of the show, then think again. At least if Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) is to be trusted!

The British actor chatted with The Hollywood Reporter after Season 4, Episode 16: “A” aired, opening up about Terminus, getting the gang back together, and getting out of that dreaded train car. Andy has already made it clear the Termites don’t stand a chance against our beloved Team Prison, and luckily his faith in his crew hasn’t waivered. “They're a teenage bunch of hooligans!” he quips of the Termites. “It's a shop of horrors that we were running through and hearing screams of people caged. We ran into hell is what it feels like.”

Surely with the likes of Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson), Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), Dr. Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt),  Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos), Bob Stookey (Larry Gilliard Jr.), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) someone can figure out a way out. Right?

Andy was asked specifically about how the “alpha males” — Rick, Abraham, Daryl and arguably Glenn — will work together to escape, and this is what he said. “I don't know. It's exciting getting the band back together, but there's still three band members out there — Tyreese, who is no slouch and an alpha male; and Carol, who is frankly beyond an alpha male; and we've got Beth out there as well.” We would’ve liked to get Andy’s answer to the question at hand, but we kind of love that he brought it back to the missing members of Team Prison, clearly their whereabouts are on his mind as well. We may be in the minority here, but we’re holding out hope that Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) saves the day.

As it turns out, we’re not the only ones who are wondering how everyone will find their way out of the train car either. Andy, speaking on behalf of the cast, explains, “We've been sitting with this for four months, wondering, "How the f— are we going to get out of the car?!" We still don't know; they won't tell us!”

We may be in the dark, but at least we’re in good company!

Do you have theories about how Team Prison will break out of that train car? Feel free to share ‘em in the comments below!

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres in October 2014 on AMC.
