We’ve consistently heard that The Walking Dead cast won’t be back on the show’s Georgia set until early next month, at which point they will start working on Season 5, but it’s clear that many members of the cast are already chomping at the bit to get back to work. Although the show ended for us viewers less than a month ago, the cast has been on hiatus since November, hence their eagerness to start a new season.

With only a few weeks to go before the big Season 5 kick-off, the cast seems antsier than usual, and we can’t say we blame ‘em. For example, on April 21, Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford) tweeted a photo of himself in character, writing, “#Work #WalkingDead #Terminus #SgtAbrahamFord #Soon.......” It’s unclear if the photo was taken recently or several months ago on the Season 4 set, but either way we get the impression that Michael/Abe is ready to kick some ass.

Between the look on his face (pretty terrifying) and that bright orange beard (arguably more terrifying) we know that like Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Abraham has no intention of letting these Terminus folks off easily. Yes, the Termites might have the upper hand now, but we know our survivors won’t be trapped in that train car forever. When they do get out we can only hope that Abraham will join forces with Rick and the rest of our original group to prove that they did, in fact, screw with the wrong people

In the comics, Abraham, Rick, and their respective groups team up to head to Washington D.C. together, but there’s no telling if that’s what will happen on the show as well. Still, TV Abraham did make it clear that his mission is to get Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) to the nation’s capital, so the seeds for that journey have certainly been planted.

What do you think of Michael’s selfie? Are you ready to find out how are survivors will get themselves out of this mess? Tell us what you think in the comments below!

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres in October 2014 on AMC.
