The Walking Dead is always on tonight … if you happened to save episodes in your DVR or if you own copies of the first three seasons on DVD/Blu-ray.

Sadly, no new episodes are airing on AMC tonight, because Season 4 abandoned us, after 16 episodes, on Sunday, March 30. Season 5 starts filming very soon in Georgia, with the cast and crew hard at work to figure out how Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his intrepid gang of merry misfits will find their way out of Terminus. But we won’t see the results until October. No official premiere date has been announced yet, but here’s a decent guess.

At this point, AMC doesn’t have any TWD content on its schedule —  in terms of re-running the series in a marathon just because we miss it — but Season 4 will be released on DVD/Blu-ray in August, so maybe we can all schedule our own joint marathons from home.

In the meantime, head over here to catch up on all the stuff we’ve heard about Season 5 so far from the producers and cast. It’s still early, but there’s already some decent intel out there. It’ll get better as time goes on, especially if The Powers That Be keep to this filming/information release schedule.

Chin up! We'll get through the five-and-a-half months left together!
