It is your patriotic duty to watch at least part of The Walking Dead’s “Dead, White & Blue” Fourth of July weekend event.

AMC is starting the party with a full series marathon, beginning Friday, July 4 at 9 a.m. The fun continues with a "Season 5 Preview Special" on Sunday, July 6, to give us an inside look at the upcoming action. Then the first of two TWD documentaries will air on July 8. (The second documentary airs the next week, on July 15.)

We heard a little bit about this back in May, when Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick was spotted on the Georgia set, interviewing people like Andrew J. West (Gareth). Now you can watch AMC’s new promo for the “Dead, White & Blue” weekend (see it below), which shows Chris talking to a bunch of cast and crew members, including Steven Yeun (Glenn) and Lauren Cohan (Maggie). You can also see Chris dress in classic Rick Grimes attire, attempting The Ricktator’s Southern accent thang.

Just a heads-up, though: The promo assumes you are up to date on TWD episodes, so it includes images from the Season 4 finale. You are all caught up, though, right? If not, the marathon is coming soon and will air every episode so far from Season 1, Episode 1 through Season 4, Episode 16, which just ended in late March.

Check out the promo below. Are you excited for a fully Dead weekend?

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres in October on AMC.
