There are some missed opportunities here, but congrats to The Walking Dead for landing two nominations in the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards.

The "Oscars of Young Hollywood" celebrates the best emerging young talent in film, music, and television. The awards will air Monday, July 28 at 8 p.m. on The CW.

Here are the two categories where TWD made the cut:

Bingeworthy TV Show

Awkward.

Game of Thrones

Orange Is The New Black

Pretty Little Liars

Teen Wolf

The Walking Dead

We Love to Hate You

Dane DeHaan (The Amazing Spider-Man 2)

Jack Gleeson (Games of Thrones)

Sam Riley (Maleficent)

Pablo Schreiber (Orange Is the New Black)

Zombies (The Walking Dead)

So congrats to the show — which is definitely binge-worthy — and, um, the zombies, who are definitely hateable, although not to Lizzie.

Speaking of Lizzie, since it’s the Young Hollywood Awards, they really should’ve nominated the amazing Brighton Sharbino in the We Love to Hate You category, since Lizzie killed her little sister Mika and was then forced to look at the flowers.

There were a few categories where TWD could’ve and maybe should’ve been nominated — including Best Threesome (Rick, Carl, and Michonne; or Abraham, Rosita and Eugene); Hottest Body (of work) (pick any TWD star); Best On-Screen Couple (Gleggie); Best Cast Chemistry – TV; and Favorite Actor/Actress. But perhaps the most egregious omission was for Best Bromance. Poor Rickyl. Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus, you were robbed!

Still, congrats to The Walking Dead on the two nods; they can always pick up more next year. Check out all of the nominees here.

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres in October on AMC.
