They’re baaaaack! The Walking Dead Season 5 actually started filming back in the first week of May, but on July 1 AMC shared two on-set videos promoting the new season.

This "Greeting From Set" video (watch below) shows the cast and crew returning to Georgia for their first day of Season 5, and it’s like the first day of school with — as co-executive producer Denise Huth put it — “15 little kids running around.”

Everyone has been talking up Season 5 as the biggest yet, and Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) called it "the most ambitious first episode I think we've attempted."

Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) said, "It's one of those scripts where every couple of pages you're just like 'Oh my God' and you have to put it down for a second to just think about it." Chad Coleman (Tyreeseadded, "After I read 501 I said 'Wow!'!" Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) said the episode was so disturbing she wasn't sure some of the stuff they shot would ever get on TV.

Denise said if the scripts she had seen to that point were any indication, S5 will be "incredibly action packed and bloodier than we've ever done before." Executive producer Gale Anne Hurd said they were "really kicking off Season 5 in style." Property Master John Sanders said, "There's a lot more action. There's a lot more zombies!"

Steven Yeun (Glenn Rhee) teased, "You've got to watch closely." Andy added, "It moves like no other premiere we've ever shot before, and if this is anything to go by for the season, I think this is going to be the best season yet."

You know, he does say something like that every single season, but the filming teases out there are intriguing enough that we're ready to believe the hype. And as Steven suggested, we will definitely be watching closely!

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres in October on AMC.
