UPDATE: Apparently some kind of van stunt is being filmed today (Monday, July 7) with a van going off a bridge. TSDF said Daryl and Carol's stunt doubles are involved, so do they somehow drive off a bridge during a chase/escape scene? The station wagon with the cross, that hit Carol, was also brought to set today.
They just posted photos (see below) of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) filming together on downtown streets. Not sure what they’re up to, but it shows that they are both still alive, and reunited after whatever happened at Terminus.
This isn’t the first time Norman and Melissa have been seen on set at the same time — remember the car chase that was filmed for a previous episode while they were in Senoia? — but this is the first photographic evidence of the characters interacting together.
Here are the pics:
TSDF also shared other photos taken today in the downtown area.
Do you think this is Atlanta playing Atlanta, or representative of the group on the road to D.C., hitting a city along the way? If they want to keep filming in the Georgia area, they could always get creative and pretend ATL was any place on the way to D.C. Or they could be doing another supply run, or embarking on some kind of other mission.
In the past week, TSDF has shared pictures of a church bus crash, and a bloody fire truck, with mention of several walkers on set, along with several cast members and Melissa. Melissa got special attention just because her name hasn't come up a lot during filming and people have been curious to know if she and Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) made peace, if she reunited with her buddy Daryl, etc. Now we're also curious where Tyreese (Chad Coleman) is — is he with his sister Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), which would be another great reunion? Is he back with Rick and baby Judith, who is hopefully fine and dandy somewhere?
The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres in October on AMC.
