We're losing track of all the superlatives flying around about The Walking Dead Season 5. It's meant to start with a bang, with more action and twists than the back half of Season 4. Actors have recently talked about some early season stuff being so disturbing they can't even believe it'll make it to air.
Season 4 left a dozen characters in a train car at Terminus and we're meant to learn a lot about the place right in the Season 5 premiere. Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) recently said, "The group has to be so resourceful and so brutal to get out of this situation. You get to see members of the group that didn't even know they were badass get to be badass."
Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes), who regularly updates his ask.fm page, previously said the Terminus people were "doomed." A fan recently joked to him, "How's life in a train cart?" he wrote back, "it sucks." Another fan asked, "is season 5 gonna be really intense?" He replied, "intense is an understatement." Good!
It doesn't look like our group spends much time at Terminus, since even a recent AMC production video showed characters (like Glenn) at a church and other outside locations. They should be filming Episode 6 or 7 right about now, and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) added to the excitement when he tweeted on July 10: "Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit ........ Muhahahahaha. Y'all are gonna be happy. #TheWalkingDead #Yup !!"
Maybe he was reading an Episode 7 script and found something fans would love and had to share a teaser? Not sure what he was referring to, but we’re ready for an intense season that makes us happy!
The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres in October on AMC.
