Now that’s what we’re talkin’ about! It’s going to take several more viewings to really digest everything in The Walking Dead Season 5 trailer, which was just released July 25 at Comic-Con, but here are 10 things we noticed right away:

Rick Reunites With Baby Judith!

We see a glimpse of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) sitting with his baby girl on some kind of bed, so obviously they get out of that Terminus train car, even if life may not be smooth sailing before or after. But Rick reuniting with Judith implies that Carol (Melissa McBride) reunites with the group, and maybe Rick and Carol have some kind of talk/understanding. It looks like she might pull a "Guts" to get inside Terminus to help the group. Maybe she gives him his watch back, if she got it back after her banishment. Or maybe Rick gets it from Sam. Remember Sam?

Carol & Daryl Reunite

We see Carol and Daryl (Norman Reedus) together at 2:03, outside together at night. Are they the people that Rick won't leave for D.C. without, as he mentions at another point? We see Tyreese (Chad Coleman) with the group inside a house (around the 1:37 mark) but not Carol. Why not?

Someone May Be Hurt/Dying

Around that same 1:37 minute mark, the group is lined up in a room, as if paying vigil to a hurt/dying person. Maggie (Lauren Cohan) seems to be the one sitting down by the bed, and we see Tara (Alanna Masterson) walk away, as if she had just said something to the sick/dying person. Who is in the bed? Beth (Emily Kinney), to sit with her sister Maggie, and maybe Tara says she's sorry for what happened at the prison? Bob, who doesn't seem to be elsewhere in the shot? Carol, who is not with Tyreese? Michonne (Danai Gurira)?

Washington "Cure" May Save Group?

The start of the promo shows our group bound, kneeling on the ground, with Gareth (Andrew J. West) in front of them, readying them for execution. Before this, we see people in gas masks come into a room, as if our group had to be gassed to be kept in line, then punished. (Maybe?) Glenn (Steven Yeun) even seems to get very close to a head chop at the 2:21 mark. But Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) is on the end of the kneeling group, next to Rick Grimes, and he tells Gareth they don't need to do this, whatever "this" is (kill them? eat them? experiment on them?). "We can put the world back to how it was." He said they have a man with answers on the cure, they have to get to Washington. Later, Gareth tells the group they don't have a choice. "You join us and go to Washington and cure this thing." We also hear Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) say, when they get to Washington, they will make the dead die and the living will have tis world again. So Eugene's (Josh McDermitt) cure is front and center. Um. What happens if it doesn't pan out?

Gareth Is With Them ... But Not Really With Them

It looks like he goes with them to the church setting, outside of Terminus, so he might be headed to Washington with them. Or that could just be tricky editing. But Rick tells Carl (Chandler Riggs) "I don't trust this guy" and they show Gareth's face. Does he mean Gareth when he says that, or is that just more tricky editing? He could mean someone else, like Father Gabriel. On that note...

Father Gabriel Is Here — and He's Super Sad

The church that we see should be Father Gabriel Stokes's church (it looks almost exactly the same as the comics), even if it's not clear how we meet him on TV. There was no Terminus in the comic books, although it's still possible there's a cannibal storyline with a TV version of The Hunters. In the books, Rick and company meet Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) on the road to Washington, D.C. Gabriel has a dark secret in the comics, but they always change things on TV so it remains to be seen what he'll have done this time. Abandoned his flock to the walkers, like in the books?

Rick vs. Abraham on What to Do

Abraham wants to go to Washington, D.C. right away but Rick won't leave without his people. Sasha also screams "Where are our people?!" Which people? Who is not with them? Bob? Beth? Or another group out on a run, like Daryl and Carol? A hostage somewhere? And what makes Abraham fall to the ground for a tragic man cry? A death? (Rosita?) The reality of the cure?

Stuff Blows Up!

You can see Rick shooting stuff, Bob shooting stuff, a massive explosion going off with walkers, Eugene spraying walkers with a fire hose. Mass hysteria! It looks like that might be from the Terminus escape. Is the water responsible for all of those soggy walkers (one seems to grab Bob at the 2:15 minute mark) or something else?

Car Trouble

There's a shot of a church bus flipping over at some point, so is that a bus they find at Gabriel's church and try to take to D.C.? We also see a van go off a bridge, which ties into filming spoilers in Atlanta, with Daryl and Carol. Apparently they are still in Atlanta at that point, not on the way to D.C. Why, though? Looking for Beth? If not, what are they doing?

Beth Is in a World of Her Own

Yeah. It's worth noting that after the main trailer ends, after they do the whole "The Walking Dead Season Premiere Sunday October 12" thing, they segue into The Beth Show. She's with a female police officer in some kind of hospital/institution setting. What are they doing there — experiments of some kind? Will someone save her?

What stood out to you in the trailer? Do you have a death fear/prediction? Where’s Mary, does she not make it? Are the Termites cannibals after all? Will Beth reunite with the group? Will they ever make it to Washington, D.C., and (if so) what will happen when they get there? Is this a hint of where they might end up? (In case you're wondering, the trailer song is "Brennisteinn" by Sigur Rós.)

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres Sunday, October 12 on AMC.
