For years now, Walking Dead comic book creator and show executive producer Robert Kirkman has been toying with the idea of putting a zombie baby on the already violent and gory show, and although he hasn’t taken the plunge (yet) this deleted scene from Season 4 comes awfully close. Don’t believe us? Read on for more info below!

In the deleted scene from Season 4, Episode 14: “The Grove” courtesy of TVLine — which will also be included on The Walking Dead: The Complete Fourth Season on DVD, Blu-ray and Limited Edition Blu-Ray — Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Tyreese (Chad Coleman), Lizzie Samuels (Brighton Sharbino), Mika Samuels (Kyla Kenedy), and baby Judith are on their post-prison journey when Tyreese spots something disturbing that he doesn’t want the girls to see.

“Let’s play a game” he says, pitching the idea of a reverse I Spy in which Lizzie and Mika close their eyes and imagine things they’d like to see as Carol and Tyreese lead them forward. All is going well — Mika spies a Pegasus unicorn while Carol opts for a swimming pool — until Lizzie cheats and opens her eyes right in front of what Tyreese didn’t want her to see.

What abject horror was gentle Ty trying to protect those youngins from? That’d be a deserted campsite complete with a now empty baby carrier. Mika seems to understand exactly what the empty baby carrier suggests, but Lizzie is either clueless or unaffected by the idea that some walkers devoured an innocent child. Clearly this was just another sign of things to come from that girl.
