The Walking Dead is one of those shows people feel passionately about, and passion comes with strong opinions.

Some people — though we were never among them — complained about the pace of Season 2. Too much time on the farm. Too much looking for Sophia. Too much Lori/Rick/Shane/Carl drama. We love the character development that slowing down gives the show, which is a reason why we’re glad to hear The Powers That Be hinted there will be less “run and gun” on Season 4.

Season 3 had a ton of action in the first half, but became more thoughtful and character-driven in the second half, until the action returned in the final couple of episodes. Now that it's over, how do you rate Season 3? Better than Season 1 and/or Season 2? Do you need tons of action to enjoy an episode, or are you OK with taking some time for characters to talk and relate to each other?
