Are you ready for Andrea (Laurie Holden) to wake up? The truth about The Governor (David Morrissey) is coming on The Walking Dead Season 3 (which returns on February 10) and it sounds like it may set Andrea free.
"Once she realizes her friends are in jeopardy, and that any harm has come to anybody that she cares for, she's going to take action," actress Laurie Holden told TV Guide. "To see her friend Daryl [Norman Reedus] not only alive, but captured by the man she's been romantically entangled with is shocking. It's her worst nightmare."
The way we left the show, on Episode 8, Daryl and his brother Merle (Michael Rooker) were standing in the zombie fight club pit with the citizens of Woodbury calling for their deaths.
A sneak peek of Episode 9 shows Andrea approaching The Governor to stop things, once she recognizes Daryl. Will she be able to save him? We know he gets out alive somehow, since promos have not been shy about showing Daryl out and about.
But it's good to hear that Andrea will "take action" when she realizes harm has come to her friends — like Michonne (Danai Gurira), Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Glenn (Steven Yeun). The Governor sent Merle out to kill Michonne. The Governor almost raped Maggie. And The Gov had Merle beat the crap out of Glenn for information. The guy is not exactly a sweetheart and we're glad Andrea is finally about to see it.
