Where’s Grandpa Simpson when you need him to point at everything and scream "DEATH!!!"

The Walking Dead is moving full-steam ahead with more carnage on Season 3. Lauren Cohan (Maggie) told The Clicker things are about to get even uglier than that walker who ate Lori.

"Things are not going to a very good place," Lauren said. "The group at Woodbury will collide with the group at the prison, and what makes us human is going to be tested. Every time we think we know what we're doing, we realize there aren't any rules. You are definitely going to see some major losses, if you can believe it. Some huge lives are going to be thrown into question."

Huge lives! And that's supposedly before TWD takes its midseason break.

Episode 8 will air on December 2, then we have to stay frozen in horror until February, when the rest of the story will resume. Comic book guru and executive producer Robert Kirkman has already teased that the midseason finale is "definitely going to be something that will make you hate the winter and be dying for the second act of the season to start." He said he's "very proud of the episode and I think people are really going to dig it."

He also revealed that an important new character — a favorite from the comics — will be coming on Episode 8. But it sounds like at least one more character will be leaving by then. You scared yet?
