The Walking Dead Season 3 is on pause right now, returning with Episode 9 on Sunday, February 10, 2013, and then airing seven more episodes after that. At this point, AMC still hasn't officially renewed Season 4, but maybe they are just waiting to pair the announcement with a premiere date, because it is definitely coming back. Everyone knows it.

And now here's more proof: TheCitizen.com in Georgia posted a story on December 9, saying TWD would return to Senoia and Coweta County in Georgia for Season 4. According to the story, Stalwart Films spokesman Mike Riley made the announcement Thursday (December 6) at the meeting of the Coweta County Commission as he thanked the county and its residents for their support of the AMC show. He said pre-production for the new season would probably begin in March.

Filming for Season 3 just wrapped at the end of November 2012. TWD’s first three seasons all premiered in October so, unless they pull something funky, it’s reasonable to guess Season 4 would also premiere during that month. But we’d never complain if they decided to mix things up and start the new season over the summer. Just saying.
