The Walking Dead Season 3, Episode 11, "I Ain't a Judas" ended with Beth (Emily Kinney) singing a hopeful song while Rick and the group gathered round and lay in wait in the wee hours of the morning at the prison. Meanwhile, even after a visit to the prison, Andrea can't decide whether she really wants to kill the evil Governor or stay with him.
Her haunting echoed off the prison walls and the lyrics went as followed:
They hung a sign up in our town
"If you live it up, you won't live it down."
So, she left Monte Rio, son
Just like a bullet leaves a gun
With charcoal eyes and Monroe hips
She went and took that California trip
Well, the moon was gold, her
Hair like wind
She said, "Don't look back just c'mon on, Jim"
Oh, you got to
Hold on, hold on
You got to hold on
Take my hand, I'm standing right here
You gotta hold on...
So what was the song that Beth sang at the end of the episode? It was Tom Waits' "Hold On". Quite fitting for the dire state that Rick and the prison group are in right now!
