Dammit, Merle. This has to be some kind of ruse. AMC just aired the first two minutes of The Walking Dead Season 3, Episode 9, "The Suicide King," during the Season 1 marathon airing on February 3. It is, as expected, an extended version of the Woodbury fight club pit. The Governor (David Morrissey) tells Merle (Michael Rooker) to prove where his loyalties lie, initiating a fight to the death between Merle and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus). The crowd cheers for Merle, who says they all know him. He's gonna do whatever he's gotta do to prove his loyalty to the town. He punches his brother and kicks him to emphasize his Team Woodbury stance. The first two minutes end with the sadists bringing out a live walker. Andrea wants this all to end, but ... will she be able to stop it?
