Brandi Glanville Causes Controversy Over Remarks About Wanting “to Be Molested as a Child”

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville certainly loves stirring up controversy, doesn't she? Brandi's latest shocking comment is about her wishing she had been molested as a child.

On her podcast this week, Brandi was interviewing comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine. Jim has spoken in the past about the fact that many people at his church were molested as he was growing up, although he himself was not a victim of this. Then, Brandi says to Jim, "I was actually stalking you online, Jim, and we have something in common! I, too, wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up." Oh, dear.

"My sister got felt up by a principal, and nothing for me: He didn’t even look at me sideways," Brandi continues. So Don asks Brandi, "Did you feel hurt by that?"

“Yeah,” she says. “Now looking back, I’m super-bummed. I was thinking, ‘All this and nothing?’ Super-hot and they passed me up!”

Wow. We assume that Brandi was trying to get a laugh here, but we're not sure that she should be making light of the actual victims of sexual abuse.

Now, Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa is weighing in on the situation. Joanna — who has feuded with Brandi quite a bit recently — took to Twitter to respond to Brandi's remarks. "Sick bitch," she wrote tersely.

On January 16, Brandi tried to explain her comments. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone with @Mrjimflorentine @PodcastOne interview," Brandi tweets. "My show is a COMEDY based entertainment show for adults — I'm sorry."

What do you think about Brandi's controversial comments and her apology?
