Watch Ben Briley Sing “Arms Of A Woman” in American Idol 2014, Atlanta Auditions

We’ve reached the second week of American Idol and if last week's premiere was any indication, we're in for a phenomenal season! The show is already proving to be different from seasons past, as we’ve said goodbye to the judges’ squabbles and hello to Harry Connick, Jr! (Seriously, can that guy can’t get any more adorable? We don’t thinks so.)

Of course, the one thing that hasn’t changed are the numerous rounds of auditions. January 23’s episode finds the judges headed to Atlanta in hopes of tracking down the country’s next big superstar.

It’s here where Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry meet Ben Briley. Ben’s an obvious star, with or without the guitar. He’s also a recently married man and huge football fan, as we found in our own rounds of research. His YouTube channel gave us a hint of Ben’s country classic flavor but it certainly didn’t beat the real thing!

All that in mind, we weren’t too surprised when Ben opted to sing Amos Lee’s “Arms Of A Woman.” He’s a big fan of Amos from what we've seen on YouTube and boy, did he score a touchdown (see what we did there?) with this tune. The judges agreed (Keith said he might even crash his car if he heard Ben on the radio, he’s so good!). So no surprise: Ben’s off to Hollywood!

What do you think of Ben’s performance? Will she make it to the Top 31? Read our spoilers here!
