Blake Shelton Wears Adult Diapers? Adam Levine Says It’s True

Call it “manufactured” or “staged” or “pure hype” but we just don’t care — we’ve fallen hook, line, and sinker for the “bromance” between The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. So when they exchanged Twitter accounts during last night’s season six premiere as part of the “#VoiceTakeover,” we knew we were in for some great 140-character barbs between them.

Our fave had to be the one from Blake’s account (written by Adam, of course), which read, #VoiceFact: I am extremely hard to deal with on set. And I wear adult diapers #VoiceTakeover.” Yes, we have the sense of humor of a 12-year-old boy. So?

Some other funny tweets that made us chuckle follow:

Adam tweeting from Blake’s account:

  • “Another #VoiceFact: I can count to purple.”

  • “Man. @adamlevine gets all of those four chair turns. And he’s so incredibly good-looking, smart, charitable, and all around better than me.”

  • “Everything that comes out of my mouth is not true #VoiceFact#VoiceTakeover.”

Blake tweeting from Adam’s account:

  • “Fun #VoiceFact: I actually have a crown from winning #4Chair turns. To show it off, I wear it around set. In only my undies”

  • “Every time I lose an artist to another coach on The Voice, I pick up People Magazine to remind myself I’m sexier than they are.”

  • #VoiceFact: I made the producers put my trailer right next to @blakeshelton‘s so he’d be forced to hang out with me.”

If we were forced to pick a winner, we’d have to say Blake had more “burns.” Then again, Adam had the last laugh while the show was on hiatus, having sent Blake a giant mockup of his People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive cover.

Seriously — we love these guys. What did you think of the “#VoiceTakeover”? Let us know!
