Kandi Burruss Talks About Her Wedding Dress Drama (VIDEO)

Kandi Burruss managed to put her entire wedding to Todd Tucker together in a matter of weeks, and with a rushed timeline like that, you can bet that there were some tense moments planning the affair. For one, Kandi turned to her friend Reco Chapple to design her wedding dress and the dresses for her bridesmaids, despite knowing that Reco has a hard time finishing his designs on schedule.

Kandi’s friends were a bit worried by her choice of wedding dress designer, but the bride gets what the bride wants, so there was little room to argue. Still, it turns out that Kandi’s pals may have had a right to worry because Reco was stitching together gowns until the very last moment!

When Kandi was on Watch What Happens Live last month, a caller phoned in wanting to know why the RHoA star waited so long to try on her wedding dress, and it turns out that Reco was kind of at fault. “Reco was taking longer than he said he would, but he was not only doing my dress he was doing all of the bridesmaids, as well,” Kandi explained. “It was scary.”

But Kandi is well aware that her entire wedding was rushed, so she doesn’t really hold it against Reco. She reasoned, “I guess the whole wedding was put together in less than a month, so…”

Kandi also warned that when us viewers finally tune into her wedding this Sunday, July 6, we’ll see just how close Reco cut it. “When you see the actual episode, you will see that he was still sewing bridesmaids’ dresses all the way up until we walked down the aisle,” she said.

Yikes! Are you surprised that Kandi tried on her wedding dress for the first time so late in the game? Check out the complete clip and tell us what you think below!
