Teen Mom Wedding Dress Face-Off — Kailyn Lowry or Mackenzie Douthit? (PHOTOS)
‘Tis the season to be married, Teen Mom fans! Resident preggo moms, Teen Mom 2’s Kailyn Lowry and Teen Mom 3’s Mackenzie Douthit, were wedded to their respective gents this past summer and the ladies looked absolutely beautiful. But of course we can’t talk about weddings, and not mention these gals’ amazing bridal gowns!
Mackenzie and her beau Josh McKee were married (again) on August 17, in a barn in front of all their rodeo-loving friends and family. The Okie from Miami wore a strapless high-low gown, with a blinged out bodice, ruffled skirt, glittering silver accessories and polished the whole look over with a pair of decorative cowboy boots. We were totally stunned by Mackenzie look… especially because OG Teen MomFarrah Abraham wore a dress almost identical to Mackenzie’s just a few days later in Las Vegas.
Macks definitely wanted to show that she was still a cowgirl — even on her wedding day. Oh, did we mention that her bridesmaids wore boots too? #Dedicated.
Kailyn had kept her nuptial details until a last month when she and her hubby, Javi Marroquin, announced the wedding date and alluded to where their big event was going to be held. Finally, on September 21, married her airman (again) at an aquarium in Camden, New Jersey.
The very pregnant bride wore a low-waist sleeveless v-neck lace number with an keyhole back, that showed off her half-sleeve tattoos and tastefully hugged her tummy. The mom wore pretty simple jewelry, sandals, and her braces (which we thought would be off in time for the big event).
Kail’s ensemble provided for fluid movement, and had a bit of a mermaid feel to it.
So, which preggo bride’s dress did we like the best? It’s pretty tough to decide. Between Mackenzie’s bling and Kail’s lace, we’re at odds. But we have to say we do love that Kailyn’s dress embraced her budding bump, while Mack’s corset got us a little scared for her growing baby.
Which Teen Mom bride do you think had the better gown — Kail or Macks? Sound off below!
