In the video package prior to the dance, Bill's wife talked about meeting him. At first she thought he was an "idiot," but he grew on her. At one point, Bill had a bad relationship with alcohol, but got it under control. His family and friends talked about how he's an everyday guy that people can relate to, which is why America loves him.
His Tango actually had intensity. It was nice to see him not fall back on being goofy. We were impressed by the lifts, and his timing was better than it's been in a while. He actually looked smooth and confident.
Maks said it was really good. "I love you." He also gave props to Emma. This Argentine Tango was exactly what it was supposed to be. Len said Bill has the will to win, if not the skill to win. He also told Emma she's done a great job. Bruno said he set the mood and played it straight and well. Carrie Ann liked that there was no joking around, and he didn't miss a beat.
Score: 8, 8, 8, 8. 32/40.
