Wetpaint Entertainment is here to set the record straight on matters related to your favorite stars — from Ben Affleck's breath to Selena Gomez's vital signs.

Using our Internet wiles, we grabbed some of the most burning queries made to Google, Bing, and more hoping to shed some light on some hot topics. Get some answers below!

If you want to ask us a question more directly, you can do so on our Facebook page. We'd love to hear what's on your mind.

Does Ben Affleck Have Bad Breath?

We at Wetpaint Entertainment have not personally smelled Ben Affleck's breath, but Sandra Bullock did when they co-starred in 1999's Forces of Nature. Reports from both The Telegraph and The Guardian say that Sandra was appalled enough by his breath that she bought him a box of mints as kind of a backhanded present. Ouch!

While Sandra was apparently not a fan, Ben's wife Jennifer Garner seems to like Ben's breath just fine. Ben and Jennifer have been married for over eight years now and have three children together!

Was Selena Gomez Killed?

Hold the phone, guys. Is this another death hoax? Selena Gomez is not dead. Last time we saw her, she was posing in lingerie for Flaunt Magazine — and very much alive.

Although we don't see nearly as many fake death reports for her as we do for her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, some fake story about Selena and a car accident rolls through the Internet every once in a while — and this is why we can't have nice things.

Sadly, though, Selena Gomez's namesake, Selena Quintanilla-Pérez (known as just Selena), was killed. The elder Selena was a chart-topping Tejano musician, referred to by some as the "Mexican Madonna," although she was from Texas like Selena Gomez. She died in 1995 at age 23 after being shot by the president of her fan club, when Selena Gomez was just two years old. Maybe some younger fans aren't familiar with that Selena, although Selena Gomez has discussed that she's "honored" to be named after someone "so amazing."

It's possible that the tragic tale of the other Selena has lead to some confusion — but Selena Gomez is alive, kicking, and performing on The X Factor tomorrow (Thursday, November 14).

Who Was Katy Perry's First Boyfriend?

In the immortal words of Katy Perry herself, "OMG gurl ur gonna FREAK." Katy admitted over Twitter that her first-ever boyfriend was Paramore's Justin York — and that he was her first-ever sexual partner. On a Howard Stern appearance in 2008, she got into more details about the latter thing: she first did the deed at 17, in Nashville, at a construction site. Damn, girl!

Katy, now 29, is currently dating singer/songwriter John Mayer! While rumors were just flying that the pair is engaged, Katy's reps say she's still technically a bachelorette.
